Boulder photography

This is a more photo pure photo from the field trip, I really loved the blue and the magenta colors of the building. It has a thick white border on it, but you can't see it with the white background of the blog.. 

 

Weekly Challenge 7

For this weekly challenge I wanted to manipulate a photograph I took using graphic shapes. Also on the photo I digitally painted over the flowers so they had more of a soft edge look to them to contrast to the shapes I added in.

This was my attempt at using Adobe Illustrator, I really love all the abilities of this program and I hope I learn how to use it better in the future! 

Weekly Challenge 5

This is a cupcake I made! I love baking and decided to do the food art challenge. This is a butterbeer flavored cupcake, and it's delicious. I tried to make this photo seem really autumny and homey because that is what think of when I bake. 

Narrative Project

For my narrative project I wanted to make an artwork that revolves around loss of identity in pop culture. The idea was that pop culture can be contradicting, they may tell people to be unique and creative when they themselves may not be.
